Shanghai Tenghu
In 2012, Tenghu established a high-standard technology research center in Shanghai, equipped with advanced facilities. It closely collaborates with several research institutions to elevate its products to a new level of professionalism.
In 2018, Tenghu has evolved from a single manufacturer of vacuum blood collection reagents to a provider of a complete set of vacuum blood collection tube production equipment and reagents, as well as laboratory consumables, offering integrated vacuum blood collection systems for customers.
Tenghu Biological
After more than a decade of development, in 2024, we now have a comprehensive facility of 5,000 square meters, which includes a 2,000 square meter efficient production workshop, a 1,000 square meter large storage warehouse, and a 1,000 square meter laboratory and integrated office area.
Using sodium citrate: blood collection tube
Sodium citrate exerts its anticoagulant effect by chelating calcium ions in blood samples. The National Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standards (NCCLS) recommends a concentration of 3.2% or 3.8%, with an anticoagulant to blood ratio of 1:9. It is primarily used for the fibrinolytic system (prothrombin time, thrombin time, activated partial thromboplastin time, and fibrinogen).

Use sodium citrate: sedimentation tube
The concentration of sodium citrate is 3.2% (0.109 mol/L) and 3.8%, with a volume ratio of anticoagulant to blood of 1:4. It is generally used for sedimentation tests. When the proportion of anticoagulant is too high, the blood is diluted, which can accelerate sedimentation.
