Interior of the tube is evenly coated with an anti-adhesive agent and a Blood Clot Activator is added. The Blood Clot Activator activates the fibrin protease, causing the soluble fibrin to become an insoluble fibrin polymer, which in turn forms a stable fibrin clot. In the case where rapid results are required, a coagulation tube can be used, which is generally used for emergency biochemistry.
